Abstract

In this the study, it was questioned to what extent young people of who define their ethnic identities as Turks and Kurds origin living in the provinces of Diyarbakır and Trabzon, between the ages of 18-30, have politically different or similar values. Findings from face-to-face surveys revealed that young people in Diyarbakır and Trabzon clearly have different political values. The differences that emerged were not only limited to political identities and preferences but also became evident in other political behaviors. However, despite all these differences, it was determined that "democracy" was a common value for the participants.
